The first question we ask when confronted with the reality that change is desperately needed in order to grow a business, is usually, “What do we need to do to grow?” and not this, “What are we doing that is just dumb, that we should stop doing immediately because it inhibits good work?” The former usually has no answer or else the plan would already be in place. But it’s the answer to the latter that will give you a place to start that will also yield immediate results.
